Your Safety

Dear Valued Patients,

Our priority is the health, safety and well-being of our patients, team, friends and family. Our practice maintains the highest standards of infection control and safety precautions in compliance with the American Dental Association®, Alabama Department of Public Health, Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and OSHA.

A few of the measures that we take to protect our patients include: autoclave sterilization of instruments, disinfection of all equipment and contact surfaces, and the use of single dose materials (filling materials, anesthetic, etc.), as well as wearing disposable gloves, masks and other barriers to prevent cross-contamination. These and many other infection control processes have been included in our daily protocols since we opened our practice.

COVID-19 Screening & Social Distancing

  • To help prevent the spread of COVID-19, we are managing our appointment schedule to allow for social distancing, and request that our patients limit the number of guests accompanying them to their dental appointment to only those that are necessary, such as parents or caregivers.

  • We are screening patients prior to their appointment by phone and again upon arrival; we are also taking their temperature before they are seen. If a patient presents with fever, COVID-19 symptoms or a history of exposure to COVID-19, we will reschedule their appointment until after the appropriate medical care and quarantine period.

  • We are also asking that our patients wear a mask when they enter our facility, and continue to wear the mask until we instruct them to remove it.

We will continue to monitor the COVID-19 outbreak, and make adjustments to our practice as new information and guidance emerge. Our thoughts are with all those people currently impacted by the virus, and all of the healthcare professionals working to care for them.
